Which vaccine centre gets which vaccine?

Hi, there are a choice of 2 nearest vaccine centres near me. I know from people who have been there that one did Moderna and the other did Pfizer on the same day. Is there a method to this? Eg. If someone wants the Moderna one should they go to the one that had Moderna or do they just mix them up a bit?

I don't think there is much Moderna around in the UK. Most centres near me have AZ and Pfizer.

There isn't much Moderns; that site could have Pfizer or Moderna. The Pfizer one will probably still be Pfizer though. Is there enough difference between them to care?

I think they are menst to be very similar from what I've read. My friend just wants to know which one she will get before she goes to help with her anxiety. When I went I didn't get a choice so I didn't know if by choosing the vaccine centre that was a way of getting a choice.

Might be best for her to go to the one that had Pfizer then as they have more chance of having Pfizer this time if there's less Moderna. Thank you.

Yes, most likely. Good luck

Our main centre in the town has been saying for a few weeks on their website that it'll be Pfizer. DD just booked in there, and booking confirms it'll be Pfizer!
