If you got severe palpitations after 1st AZ jab how were you after your second?

I'm pretty worried. My first gave me crazy palpitations for a month that then levelled off to come only at my period and around ovulation 3 cycles on. I think it just screwed with my hormones and gave me a nudge into perimenopause but I'm worried about the second vaccine making me worse... Has anyone had second jab and can report back? 🤔

I haven't had my 2nd AZ jab yet but I did have palpitations the evening I had the first but no more after that. Its worrying that you think it nudged you into perimenopause as I'm 45. Can I ask what makes you think that?

I'm hoping it's only temporary. I'm 43. I feel the jab really messed with my hormones and my cycle and after much research and keeping a diary I've noticed the palpitations sync up with certain times in my cycle, which is a peri menopause symptom...

It could be coincidence, but they started 5 mins after my jab so I don't think so. They are lessening each month though so I think it's only temporary 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

I had palpitations after having had Covid in January and my first AZ vaccination in March.

They went on for a couple of weeks each time.

I had my second AZ about 3 weeks ago and was absolutely fine. Not even a flutter.

It was a very welcome relief as I was very rough with Covid and then rough for several days after the first jab. The second vaccination had not side effects at all.

I did! Had my second 3 & half weeks ago and so far just a bit of mild anxiety/pounding heart but I honestly think it's peri and a huge coincidence that it's all started after my jabs.

@Lindy2 thanks for the reassurance. @NorthernNic I feel a bit like I had a foot in the door of peri menopause and the first vaccine gave me a shove further in... And I'm hoping I'm now quietly creeping back out again 🤣 - thanks for the link x
