Just that! I know it’s speculating and anything could happen but I’m feeling so worried about my second dose this week (I’ll definitely get it, just looking for hope!).

I had my first dose 7 weeks ago and the side effects were awful for me. Fever, chills, headache, nausea, utter exhaustion, I couldn’t do anything other than lie in bed. Then after about 4 days this settled to waves of exhaustion and nausea and brain fog fog which lasted around a week. I could potter at home but not work properly.

I’ve been fine since, but people keeping telling me that the second dose side effects are worse with Pfizer. I’ve too much going on to write 2 weeks off, and am just a bit worried!

Update: had vaccine 48 hours ago. Felt very tired that evening and had a really disturbed and slightly feverish night. I was exhausted and felt a bit hungover yesterday but am almost fine today, just an achey arm (improving), and a little tired (but have worked a full day and am going to an activity this evening). A huge improvement on the first dose!

Not me, but DH. He was really ropey after the first, and was dreading the second, but besides an aching arm and feeling cold that night he was fine with the second.

If you get sick after the first pfizer vaccine you had covid. So it's like the second for you. You'll be fine after the second because you don't really need the second vaccine

I was going to say this !

This is reassuring as I’ve been dreading my second which is on Saturday. I had my first 3 and a half weeks ago and it floored me. Ached all over and had awful nausea for 2-3 days. Fingers crossed this time will be better

If I have had covid I was asymptomatic though as apart from right after my jab I've not even had a sniffle since 2019
