Has anyone moved their Pfizer to less then 12 weeks?

Just curious really. I’m pregnant and don’t have my second dose until the end of August. Obviously getting worried now especially having secondary school aged children.

My DH had his first on 24 March at our GP, still waiting for his second. Contacted GP several times over the past 3 weeks to check when the next clinic is taking place and they can't confirm dates as waiting for the Pfizer to arrive and they don't know when it will be in. We live in Manchester.

@LemonTT really? The guy vaccinating me told me that, then I heard him telling others too. A different vaccinator also told my DH the same on a different day. Disappointed now!

Mine is booked for 9 weeks after the first one. We are rural and they made the decision, when the over 50s gap was shortened, to offer 'from 8 weeks' to everyone because of the way they organise the vaccination clinics. I think they've been doing two priority groups per clinic all the way through because there are so few people they can do all of those in one day/clinic and not waste vaccine doses.

I'm mid-thirties btw

Yes, I had my first mid-May and my second on Thursday at a vaccine center that had opened to drop ins for over 25s. They had absolutely no problem in doing my second vaccine and there were quite a few other people doing the same.

I’ve felt rough for the last few days but I think it’s fairly normal.

I also just had my second Moderna in Ireland. Arm hardly even sore and no other problems. DH gets his second Pfizer next Sunday.

I haven't been able to do so yet but really keen to since that Lancet paper that said stretching out the interval between first and second doses longer than three weeks caused immunity to fall away sooner than if you have it with a three week gap.
