Anyone else waiting for results with an unhappy boss?

Tested yesterday afternoon at a test centre and still no results though, boss is short staffed and I am a terrible people pleaser.

Aaargh.

You won't please anyone if you spread covid! Hopefully results won't take long.

Yes! It's my Dh awaiting results he tested at 9:30am yesterday but my bosses have already been in contact a few times this morning. Now my dc arent well either- no idea if covid but they couldn't be in school. So my work are not happy, making me feel guilty, sat doing work now with everyone in the house ill.

If your boss is pressuring you to come back they are exactly the sort of person to turn on you in a second if you go in and cause a workplace outbreak. Really you are doing them a favour.

Tell them to stop contacting you. They’re short staffed as no one wants to work for them. Don’t answer your phone. Tell them when you get the results you will contact them ASAP.

I keep flinching every time my phone beeps!
