On a boiling hot day
To have their temperatures checked?
Just what is that going to prove?
I feel sorry for the poor children caught up mine this craziness.
They’ve suffered enough

@tigger1001 Alternatively it might be enough to make anyone who knows damned well they've got a temperature turn round and go back home and not risk infecting other people.

I've been to loads of attractions with the kids lately and they've had fantastic organisation with timed arrival slots and minimal queuing. Chessington have handled it terribly.

I went last summer. I expected they would have reduced numbers so we would have a nice time. How wrong was I. Will never go to a Merlin attraction again.

I used to love theme parks as a child but I'm really dreading them as a parent Shock

Oh goodee we’re again at the stage of the pandemic where we turn our noses up at people wanting to spend their money and free time up in a downmarket way again are we? Yuck, Chessington Sad

The poor parents and children. It’s so hit and miss when you go out whether the place will be awful or not. I’ve been to one theme park during the pandemic and it was fine - no queuing to enter and average queues for the rides so if it had been me I’d have happily gone to Chessington expecting it to be fine.
