Will the vaccine still be effective by then? When we first started vaccinating people I thought were told they would not be effective indefinitely.

Until time passes, nobody knows if immunity will wane significantly. Tests continue to check immunity of those who've had vaccines and those who've had covid, with plans for boosters if required. You'll just have to wait and see.

"I thought were told" - no, nobody ever said that, scientists said that they didn't know yet.

...and if the whole world is vaccinated, who will be in the control arm of this massive medical experiment? Poor design... by design, perhaps?
