Covid-19 vaccination for a child allergic to antibiotics?

I ask this question in anticipation that children in England may soon get vaccinated for Covid-19.

I know that my son is allergic to Penicillins. Therefore in the past, when he might need antibiotics, we had to ask for another type.

Does this fact give us any concern in case he will be vaccinated?

Thank you for your advice.

I am allergic to penicillin and had the jab no problem. It doesn't contain penicillin.

A good friend who is allergic to penicillin had to have her vaccine (AZ) at a hospital because the local vaccination centre weren’t prepared to take the risk. In fact she was absolutely fine,

I’ll be asking this question because one of my children is allergic to penicillin. I want him to have the vaccine though, as does he.

There’s no penicillin or antibiotic in the vaccine.

I am allergic to penicillin and had the AZ a vaccine and was absolutely fine.

Yup as others have said, I’m allergic too and have been fine, same with my DH who’s had both jabs.
There’s no penicillin in the vaccines.

My dd is allergic to Penicillin and had her first vaccination 2 weeks ago. Was absolutely fine. Felt tired the day after but that was it. They had a doctor at the vaccination who would answer any questions there so if there's anything worrying you you can ask there.
