50+ & at risk groups - has your 2nd vaccine been brought forward?

Has anyone been invited to have their second vaccine at 8 weeks instead of 12?

I keep getting daily texts from my GP that my second vaccine is due now even though I didn't have my first vaccine at the GP. The appointment they are offering me is no use because:

  1. I'm currently several hundred miles away
  2. It is AZ

I still have my original appointment so I guess I will just stick with that. 119 told me to try cancelling and rebooking but there is no way of knowing whether I will be able to get an earlier appointment and there is a risk I might not be able to rebook until a later date than my original appointment Hmm The GP surgery won't discuss vaccination Hmm

I'm a bit baffled why I am being offered a second AZ vaccine by the GP hub when I didn't have a first.

Moved from 11 weeks to 9, via same notification as first was booked via(gp hub)

@Halloweenrainbow

I'm in Scotland. CV group 6. 2nd AZ appointment next week (week 13!). No earlier availability Sad.
It seems very behind up here. No wonder cases are so high.

@ssd Totally agree. 60+ group still waiting for 2nd vaccines in Scotland. Scheduled for 12 weeks.
