Anyone else with the delta variant?

I’m on day 3, or maybe 4 of Covid. Feels like I have really bad hay fever, not sure if it really is hay fever or if it’s Covid symptoms!
Anyone else out there with confirmed delta/Indian variant?

I heard too that if you are vaccinated and catch Covid, then there is likely a lot of sneezing. I think the radio ads etc should warn about this, because sneezing is not a symptom the general public expect, and so 99% of people would assume it to be a cold or hayfever.

Interesting. Last week I felt like I had terrible hay-fever, eyes were streaming and nose stuffy and runny. I had a slight sore throat too. My daughter felt the same. Maybe covid?

I don’t think I would assume Covid if you normally get hayfever around this time of year (which lots of people do)

I’ve had a good week of weird symptoms too. Am fully vaccinated. Have had a really bad throat for two days, then a cough, and hayfever symptoms like I haven’t had in years. Have done 3 LFT in that time and all negative. Am concerned, but given that all the normal bugs have now resurfaced in schools rationally I’m taking it as a cold/hay fever mix. If COVID wasn’t a thing, we wouldn’t think twice about it.

I've not suffered from hay fever badly this year, and I'm fine now. I've had both doses of the vaccine. My daughter has never had hay fever before either.

I had my first jab two weeks ago, no side effects. Two days ago I got a slight headache and my nose was running, felt like hayfever but I haven't had that since I was a child. The thing that worried me most was I was feeling dizzy and needed to lie down. I thought I might have just caught too much sun. Has anyone else felt dizzy?

...also, was off my food which is VERY unlike me. Very slight soreness at the back of my throat. It's all been very subtle so I wasn't sure if I'd just overdone it the past few days. The runny nose was odd though. It only lasted two days. Very odd.

We had the Indian variant (confirmed by phe) around 8th may, I’d had one vaccine about four weeks before we got it, kids had sore
Throat high temps very very congested, zero cough…. I had weird feeling in throat, temps max about 38.7 for a day but mild fever about four days after the highest temp and the congestion was unreal, was prescribed steriod nasal spray which helped , tight chested , cough by day 9 then seemed to stop getting worse and finally could sleep abit better (hot water with vicks in by bed helped) felt like hard to breathe but used finger o2 monitor thing and levels never went below 98! Was weird, worst part was congestion, couldn’t sleep as mouth breathing and felt so weak if I tried to do anything other the lie in bed, was like that about four days, day 11 onwards ie when
Isolation ended my fever had gone and I was walking dog but barely any distance felt too weak and had to keep lie down if did too much, just steadily got better after that and doing almost full excercise again now. Don’t know if my vaccine would have helped much as not long had it before covid but maybe it did as recovery has gone ok, nurse from phe said it would be helping … had second dose
This week so feel full of antibodies now, making most until some other
New variant appears that I’m not equipped for.

Oh yes had nausea and couldn’t eat for the worst couple days and dodgy tummy but wasn’t sick, have a cast iron stomach so
Know I’m ill if I can’t eat! Hot drinks helped and lucozade was fine as well for those 48hrs

Hi all

I’m day 5 here (not confirmed case, but definitely thinking I have it)
Started Friday with sneezing lots, sore throat and headache..constant runny nose, very achy on Saturday, probably my worst day (so far 🤷🏻‍♀️😬) last night was sick but only a small amount and now nauseous, diareah and cramping. Feeling scared it will get worse, does anyone have a timeline of the illness or know which day it generally gets worse? 🥲
