Second jab done! 🎉

Hooray!

I've had AZ both times and under 40 but not concerned. I reacted quite badly to the first and was in bed for a few days. Did anyone have less of a reaction to the second jab? I'm going to see my dad for the first time in a year on Friday and really want to be on form.

DH had his on Sunday (AZ) and reported a sore arm for a couple of days but that's it. He's right as rain now. My 2nd AZ is in two and a bit weeks. First one I felt rough for a couple of days but hoping for less of a reaction this time. Anecdotally, all my friends who have had the 2nd have all been totally fine even though they reacted a bit to the first.

Just a sore arm tonight - knackered and having an early night (night shift related, not vaccine related!) - feeling confident I won't wake up feeling like I'd been run over like last time.

Interestingly, DH (also under 40) has zero side effects from his first. Jammy.

Cor my arm hurts today! Definitely worse than last time. That seems to be the only ill effect though, hooray.

I think so much of only the negative news around vaccines get posted we often forget how many millions of doses have been given that not only do people survive but lots have no or few side effects...sore arm is quite mild, although to listen to some amputation might be necessary

I'm 36 and have had both AZ jabs. First jab had an achey arm for around 4 day. Was anticipating being worse with 2nd (as people kept telling me to expect this). Absolutely fine... No side effects at all 😊 hope you are just as lucky 🍀

Well done OP, feels good to part of the double jab club doesn't it. Take it easy and drink plenty of fluids.

Definitely @NorthernNic! We want to go to Thailand in the new year and seen they're accepting double jabbed tourists from January 🎉

Had my second yesterday. First one, slight headache and a bit tired for 48 hours, nothing really. If I hadn't had a vaccine I would have thought I was just a bit run down. Slightly sore arm, but didn't feel the vaccine going in at all, vaccinator was obviously very good.

Second vaccine lady not so good. She jabbed it in hard Sad. So, arm is more sore than first time, but no side effects yet at all. I am wondering whether the needle was different?

I could have written that @BigWoollyJumpers! Exactly the same here
