I had my 1st Pfizer jab yesterday at 3pm. About 24 hours ago (so 4ish hours later) my arm started to really hurt and it still is! Anyone have this side effect and how long did it last? Thanks!

Both DH and I had a really sore arm for about 2 days after, it seems perfectly normal. Apart from some fatigue the day after the vaccine, we didn't have any other side effects.

Mine was really achey but fine after about 24 hours

Yes, couldn’t lift my arm up without quite a bit of pain, but it disappeared after about 48 hours.

On the plus side, you are not spending 6 hours a day with obnoxious teenagers who want to punch you on the arm like with BCG vaccination

Second Pfizer was less painful

My first very sore for 24 hours.
DH seecond, very sore for days right down to his wrist. He had to take two days off work as his job involves operating machinery.

Roughly 2 days of bad pain, 1 day of discomfort, and then magically better.
