Covid app and proof of vaccination

I have it in my head the nhs covid app can act at proof of vaccination, but I can find that functionality in the app. Have I made that up?

It's not the NHS covid app, the one you use to scan into venues, but the actual NHS app. You need to register, get your identity confirmed then you can see your vaccination status.
