Hip and thigh pain with on going exhaustion

My mum is 73 and always been active. She walked everyday. Since her first AstraZeneca jab she has had hip and thigh pain and generally no energy. She had her second jab a month ago and the symptoms continue. I am trying to persuade her to go to the GP but has anyone else heard of similar problems?

Most likely could be an arthritis flare? There are other things that can cause pain on just one side, the GP can help work out out. Osteoporosis might also cause issues, a fracture or sciatica. She should definitely see a GP whatever it is. Put it to her that she won't know if/ how to exercise versus protect her hip unless she knows what's actually wrong with it, so she needs it looked at for basic advice.

Is the pain on the inside of the outside of her hip?
