I've followed Dr. Jen Gunter for a while, since I saw her Ted Talk on periods. I find this very reassuring.

Thanks for sharing.

I had my first dose of AZ on the 16th March. Normal period a couple of weeks later, normal period earlier this month (starting 5th May), and I appear to now be having another period, which started yesterday. I don't know if it is related to the vaccine, as I figured not as i have had normal periods since, but 🤷🏻‍♀️ Interesting that the article briefly mentions steroid injections as I had one of those for the first time 16th April, again normal period after that, but then this, so maybe it could be that affecting it (I've been trying to find I for of a link but hadn't come across much, so it's interesting that it's mentioned there).

@misskatamari glad you found it useful. I think I've been lucky with timings. Had my first dose in March, while I was on my period. I'm about to have my second dose this weekend and I'm on my period again, so both early in my cycle.

I'm early 30s if that makes a difference. Had the first vaccine in March as I live with a vulnerable person.

Oh, and I've had no late or early, or more painful periods since the first dose.
