Vaccine medical questions

Today I went to get my first vaccine, no medical questions asked when booking just DOB and nhs number. I'm 41 but have PE history. I've tried to get through to my doctors all week (still not open to walk in) to ask about suitability of AstraZeneca but couldn't talk to anyone who could give me an answer.
Fast forward to today, turned up, queued for 25 minutes, thought it was strange that no-one appeared younger than me in the queue. Sat down with nurse and on the first medical question of thrombosis said we can't vaccinate you today as this session was just AstraZeneca. Not bothered about booking, and would rather wait and be safe, but why does the booking website not ask these medical questions before booking the appointment?? Surely it would save everyone's time all round!

It’s down to your GP to have your details on their system so you get sent a link to book the correct vaccine you should have.

That would explain it, my GP is rubbish, so should it flag on the booking system when I put in my NHS number?

I have a history of PE and was given the AZ. I wasn't asked any medical questions at my appointment. I did speak to my Consultant who told me it's only an issue in the under 30's. I wonder if the change is a new one or it's down to individual health authorities?

I'm not sure, I didn't ask my Gp or consultant before booking as I've been off warfrin for 2 years and had read up on the risks so was quite happy to have AstraZeneca one.
It was literally the first question the nurse asked then she said I'll have to stop there, then got the doctor. I'm in Merseyside if it matters.
