Tiredness a month on from vaccine

Just wondered if anyone else had this? I feel exhausted and foggy headed a month after the Pfizer..

I'd suggest you report to GP but they will send you for a bunch of invesigations to try to prove it's something else

As they should! Imagine how many other potentially treatable conditions would go undiagnosed if we just assume every ailment is vaccine related.

Those of you who are saying "how do you know it's the vaccine?", etc. Do you say the same to people who have long covid? How do they know it was covid? Why not effects of lockdown, thyroid problems, low vitamin levels? People know their own bodies - believe them.

Err - no - people do NOT "know" their own bodies. If they did, there'd be no need for doctors.

And yes - the same questions ARE asked of people reporting long-covid symptoms. They go through a battery of tests to rule out everything else and it's still not conclusive.

Lockdown has made a MASSIVE change to people's regular routines, and these changes affect people both physically and mentally, esp things like drinking more alcohol, and leaving the house less frequently. More poison, less exercise is a terrible combination.

@strangeshapedpotato - well, I'd say they know their own bodies better than internet strangers do.

And I think that's very disingenuous to say that people who report having long covid are really subject to the same levels of interrogation as those reporting vaccine effects (including on MN).

I will see how the week goes then see about blood tests but I have to say I have been fine the past 18months, not stressed and fairly relaxed so I do know myself if that makes any sense and feel it may be related. I’m open minded and just started the thread to see if anyone else had similar rather than debate it all. Thanks all

I started a thread about similar. 10 days and struggling with headaches and whoozy dizzy feeling. And fatigue.
Will phone GP tomorrow. My job is full on and I am struggling to think straight now.

Same here, severe tiredness for 5 weeks after AZ vaccine. Started 12 hours after the vaccine so I know that it’s the cause. Have had long Covid too if that’s relevant. Was wondering whether to have the second vaccine as I’ve felt so rough, but do feel a little better the last few days so probably will, although worried about the after effects.

Jab 4 weeks tomorrow and the last week was a bit better but I'm still tired. Very forgetful!

Prior to that v tired with mild headaches and really foggy head.

I don't think I was as bad as most colleagues for the 48 hours after the jab. (Most of us got it done at the same time) they l had fevers as well as aches. To me It's felt like a mini version of mild but long Covid.

Had a very bad day on day 6. Two colleagues have had lingering symptoms including v tired.

Achey joints on and off too.

I have a thyroid and ferritin test tomorrow but expect it to be good to be honest.

Need to add that I've not had Covid and was v worried about long Covid having experienced mild cfs/ me before. So I'm glad to have had the jab.

Apparently the second AZ is better.

My dad’s like this ever since the second vaccine. He’s been to the hospital and GP for blood tests, scans, colonoscopies you name it. Nothing can be found. It started straight after the vaccine ... but no medical professional ever considers there to be a correlation.

He’s gone from being a fit and healthy 75 year old (prior to the vaccine) to one with foggy brain, dizziness and exhaustion so he now sleeps all day.
