Please walk me through 2and vaccination appointment

I have my 2nd vaccination appointment later. I was so nervous and had so much anxiety at the first one. This one even more so, as I'm having a second AstraZeneca Sad

How is the 2nd appointment different to the first? Can someone who has been to a large city vaccination centre walk me through it?

Given my anxiety and the fact I could barely give them my details last time, it would be good to know what to expect.

I volunteer at a vaccination hub: same as the first except you will be asked if you had a reaction to the first jab.

I had my second in April. I very grateful to everyone in volved. From the scientists who developed it, the volunteers who tested it, the logistics people who organised distribution, those who organised the centre's, those who volunteered to do the injections, those who volunteered to organise the day to day running of the centres, and all of those I haven't mentioned who helped this happen.

Two points if like to mention. Firstly, I wear hearing aids and find it next to impossible to hear and understand what someone wearing a mask is saying/asking. Kudos to all the medics and volunteers who understood this and didn't bat an eyelid when D D said she needed to go with me.

Second, please remember ( and this will bring the wrath of the right wing down on me,but I'm old enough and ugly enough enough not to care), this monumental effort was achieved by the NHS and LAs. Not Johnson and his croneys, who should take absolutely no credit for it, but if course will if we let them

Mine was at a tiny high street pharmacy in Tottenham.
All the fixtures and fittings from the shop removed to make enough room for us.
Went in, gave name, waited around 30 seconds then straight through to back room, jabbed, no pain, and out. Walked home. Whole thing probs took less than 3 minutes. No details given other than name.

Had my second AZ just a few days ago was the same as the first appointment nothing particularly different queue up, sit down a few questions they did ask about any allergies I am allergic to penicillin quick jab handed a leaflet about side effect then on my way home
All done in less than 30mins including walking from car park
This was a large city centre vaccine centre

I had my 2nd dose on Thursday (AZ), it was the same as the first appointment. Took about 10 minutes in all. I didn't have any reaction this time.
Overall though, it's just a massive relief to be fully vaccinated. Can't wait for my adult kids to have theirs.
