Passenger locator form & dual passport

Sorting the PLF for my dad who is dual US/UK citizen. Has anyone with two passports dealt with this? Thinking it’s better to use his UK passport number on the form for entry into the UK - but don’t want him to run into trouble leaving or reentering the US as passport numbers obviously different.

I don’t think it matters which one you use to come into the UK as he’d still need to self isolate and take the day 2 & 8 tests.

I thought with USA they were only letting in US citizens - might be completely wrong on that btw - personally I’d check that USA citizens don’t have any other restrictions coming here & use his US one.

Thanks -- yes, they are only letting US citizens back into the US. But you can come in with one passport & out with another, which is a bit confusing. My only thought was the queue might be shorter at Heathrow for the UK citizen line!

You don't need paperwork like a passenger locator form to go back to the US, & in his state you don't have to quarantine either if you're vaccinated. Total randomness of covid lottery.
