Anyone accidentally pregnant after Covid Jab?

So my friend has found herself unexpectedly pregnant.
Pill taken religiously. Only thing she's done different is have her 2nd covid jab.

Do you think this is a thing? Will there be a covid baby boom do you think? Or is she just the 1 in 100 or whatever the pill normal fail rate is?
@Doomsdayisstillcoming the pill is not 100% effective and never has been. Neither is any other method of contraception-except abstinence. You can’t sue for the other things not being 100% so you can’t sue for this either.
Okay, so I was joking about suing.

This thread has depressed me though. Why don’t more women care that men just don’t give a shit about their health in relation to medication?

I had my jab today with my wife. Side effects for Pfizer last updated Jan 21. Ridiculous. No mention of it potentially affecting pill.

There are masses of threads on how it's upsetting menstrual cycles so, in a way, it would be more unusual if there weren't surprise pregnancies.

I wonder if your babies will be born with inbuilt immunity?

I saw a doctor post a video about this. He was saying something like it can mean your period is either late or early but this has no effect on your fertility so doesn’t cause pregnancy. I’ll try to find the video.

Here it is - vm.tiktok.com/ZMetmevb6/

I have no idea how reliable a doctor he actually is but seems to have some quite informative videos

Me too! I am pretty sure my first AZ vaccine triggered an ovulation, my timings are all out! Might just be my age chucking out extra eggs.. a little anxious for my 2nd vaccine while still first trimester but on balance will just get it done.

Me too, we'd been trying for 10 months and I was cloe to giving up (I'm 40) then had my second Pfizer and now finally pregnant! I think it's because it it made me ovulate early, lengthening my luteal phase and actually making it stick.

You are right.
I only knew it affected periods after I came on here and realised other women had experienced the same as me.
I definitely think a heads up should be given that extra protection should be used after the vaccination.

It’s lovely to hear all of the good news stories Grin

People get pregnant all the time, not necessarily the vaccine, I imagine it was those pesky sperm things
