Anyone have stomach issues after covid vaccine

Hi. I’m so glad I managed to get my second vaccine 4 days ago, but I seem to have developed digestive issues. Mild-moderate cramping, occasional nausea and lots of bloating. This started the day after the vaccine. Anyone else get any stomach related symptoms?
I was fine after the first dose. Had the Pfizer if that makes a difference.

I had my first dose of Pfizer today and felt nauseous for a minute almost immediately afterwards. It was more than likely just being a bit squeamish in my case though! Been fine the rest of the day. Hope you're feeling better soon!

Had my first Pfizer on Friday morning and started to feel nauseous a few hours afterwards. Still feeling queasy today, the worst was about 5pm, thought I was going to throw up at one point. Seems to have settled now.

That's the only side effect I've had really, so far, nausea and lack of appetite.

I had Pfizer today at 11.30.. I feel quite nauseous this evening. It’s peculiar, I can only describe it as feeling like pregnancy nausea! I keep feeling extremely hungry, eating & then I’m fine for a bit.. weird! I’m deffo not pregnant 😂

Thanks. Hoping it’s because of the vaccine and settles soon. It’s bloating, gurgling and mild almost period pain type cramps. All started day after vaccine so must be related.

Yes it's the vaccine. Hope you feel better soon.

Yes I had the same issue with the 2nd Pfizer shot. 48 hrs later I had really bad stomach pains and vomiting. Still not 100% a week later

TrufflyPig · 15/05/2021 22:32

Yes I did have cramps and bloating but it only lasted 48 hours. I filled out a Yellow card report. Here it is if you want to do it too.

I've had intermittent nausea for about 48 hours after my first dose of Pfizer the other day. Guess it makes sense with inflammation from immune response!

Thanks for sharing. Yes I had The vaccine yesterday. My stomach is hurting and I getting everything you described. Hubby got these symptoms same day he got the vaccine. I'm just in bed wondering what on earth is going on.

Yes for over a week after, nausea and couldn't face the thought of eating meat. Was v odd.

My mother has had 2x Pfizer. Felt flu-ish for a day or 2 following the first jab. Fine after second. I’ve had 1 Moderna and was nauseous/ vomiting around 8 hours later. It passed almost as soon as it started. Otherwise ok. All the vax have some sort of reaction. DH has itching at vax site 4 weeks on.

DramaAlpaca · 16/05/2021 00:00

I had Moderna yesterday and my stomach isn't quite right today, plus I'm nauseous and very tired.

I had an awful headache and vomiting 3 days after my second Pfizer which may or may not have been related but felt like it was.

Had to get a taxi home from work in the middle of the day, which then had to stop twice so that I could be sick on the road Blush.

I had second AZ on Thursday, had cramps & runs for the last two days, feel like I have been hit by a bus today.

MercyBooth · 16/05/2021 01:05

@Nat6999 that sounds awful

veryveryfine · 16/05/2021 18:29

Had 2nd AZ on Wednesday. Had stomach cramps & diarrhoea 24 hours after & still not 100%. After 1st dose had chills, hot & cold, headache for 24hrs like bad hangover! Don't care though, just happy to have had both jabs.
