How easy is it to just turn up and get a jab ?

I keep hearing of people just getting spares. At least 5 people I know have got spares by just turning up at the GP centre and asking. Anyone here had any luck ?

Just try it. I think it's usually at the end of the day when some of the invitees haven't turned up and they've got spare vaccine. I was invited for mine and had both.

End of day is more likely I think. Had mine (a booked appointment) yesterday and no one without a booked appointment was even allowed into the building, though.

Keep an eye on vaccination pages on social media, some seem to be announcing when they have drop in clinics or spares
