What vaccine at Askham Bar, York?

What have people had recently here and what age are you? Wondering if they're doing Moderna days and AZ days, or all Moderna or whether they're splitting it as AZ for over 40s and Moderna for under.

Good to know that @Whatthechicken. Did you have to queue for long? Are you still feeling tickety boo?

No straight in and out for injection (did have to wait for 15 mins afterwards though) @twoticksvix it took longer to drive around the car park than I imagined. They were seriously organised and lovely. I feel fine, had it around midday though. I have got tennis elbow and a dodgy shoulder at the minute (gardening), so feeling a bit sore anyway, hoping it doesn’t get much more sore, can’t even see where it went in on my arm (atm)..

Thanks @twoticksvix, I think I’m just feeling my age, first time it’s really happened! I think that’s one of the reasons behind me being a bit concerned about AZ (I would have had it, just preferred not to), no matter how ridiculously small the odds are, I am very aware I’m not indestructible now I’ve hit my 40s.

@shewalkslikerihanna goodness I would be very worried about catching covid in your situation. Were you not considered in a vulnerable group? I would be jumping for a vaccine

I went last night - straight in, as others have said just the 15 minute wait after. It does take a few minutes to driver around the car park - a bit like a queue at a theme park!

I had my first, and am 37 - I got Pfizer, in the red tent. They seemed to be doing first doses in the red tent last night.

Pfizer today as well.

Hi @twoticksvix aside from the sore arm for the first night I’ve had no side affects at all - which is a relief! You must be relieved it was Moderna? I think all of the negativity around AZ will generate a lower compliance which is such a shame, but I was relieved too.
