... when were you called for your second vaccination?

DH was called at 9 weeks post first dose. Just trying to see if there is a general pattern/rule (and if I've got a chance of getting my second one before my holidays!)

I’m expecting mine in 2 weeks, which would be 11 weeks. Haven’t heard anything yet.

I know they say that they will call by 11 weeks, but just wondering how it works in practice. DH was told 11 weeks and was called at 9 weeks.

11 weeks... Told week before. My husband also 11 weeks told 2 weeks before

10 weeks for DH and me.

9 weeks for me and the in laws all with same gp practice.

I got the text 10 weeks after first jab and was able to book for the following day

Just received a text to book 2nd jab. Only offered one date - 10 weeks after the first dose.

mine were both booked at the same time.

11 weeks here. First time a phone call to see if I intended to get the jab, second a letter from the GP practice.

I was sent a text just under 10 weeks to book my 2nd. That will make it 11 weeks between vaccinations.

Thanks all - sounds like there might be an outside chance to have it sooner than 11 weeks. I know someone else at the same gp hub who was also called at 9 weeks (when I say "called", I mean via text message!)

I had mine booked by gp at our local hub but was able to book my second jab on the nhs website with full pick of sites. Its worth checking if you can just book yourself - need your NHS number

But @bunanarama presumably there isn't an option to book the second vaccination sooner than 11 weeks on the nhs website? At the moment I can book both doses on nhs website (which I haven't done as I've got a gp hub appointment booked), but the soonest the second one can be booked is 11 weeks. I think I'm going to stick with the gp appointment for the outside chance that I'll get called sooner than 11 weeks (but of course I realise that I might not be).

Mine was 10 weeks and 6 days

I went on the GP’s website to book a medication review and found I could book a second vaccination, so I did. A few weeks later I got an invitation for a second jab and had to ring them up and explain.

10 weeks for me ! The surgery called me in the morning because they had spare and I was awaiting my 2nd dose xx

We had ours at our GP hub and were given the return appt at the time of the first jab and it was 11 weeks give or take a day .

I've been called for my second from 9 weeks but didn't have my first with them. Not sure why they're calling people early when the earliest without an extreme circumstance should be 11 weeks.

Just shy of 9 weeks for me; 10 weeks for DH.
