Delayed reaction (8 days!) at jab site

Had the AZ last weekend. 8 days later and my arm is experiencing the reaction I normally get when I have flu jabs.

Warm, swollen injection site, redness, very sore arm muscle. Was a bit sore the day after but nothing after that...until now.

I do normally have a fairly bad reaction like this to the flu jab, so had expected it for the COVID jab...but not 8 days later?!

Anyone experienced similar?!

I have the same after the moderna jab. Was delayed around 7 days. Still have it after a few days.

@SonnetForSpring thank you! It's so weird. Scary that so much is still going on in your body as time goes on after the jab!

I had similar, got a sore arm the day after and felt a bit achy, was fine the next day. Then about 7 days later my arm was really sore, aching and tender again just in the place I had my job.

Same here but with Moderna. Painful for 48 hours after jab and then again exactly 7 days later.

Yes. 10 days after my first AZ jab. I got a red area which was warm to the touch. I called 111 & they prescribed antibiotics.

I had a sore arm but no other side effects after AZ at the end of March, but since then the site of the jab has occasionally been itchy. It was itchy today which seems very odd after so many weeks.
