I can't yet - 1983 born and 38.

CheeseAndBeans · 12/05/2021 13:14

NHS site still says 40 and over? I'm 39 but heard nothing yet.

WithASpider · 12/05/2021 13:18

Thanks, just let my DB and SIL know!

sumpplneedshaking · 12/05/2021 13:19

I'm 35 and my doctors rang today and booked me in for Saturday to get the jab.

lioninthemeadow · 12/05/2021 13:20

On what basis do you say that? The main NHS website still says 40 and it won't let me (39) or DH book yet.....

CheeseAndBeans · 12/05/2021 13:21

I just tried and says I'm not able to book yet. News saying 38/39 year olds from tomorrow.

LondonWFuck · 12/05/2021 13:21

It's been announced on the news but I think it only kicks in on the nhs site from tomo

lioninthemeadow · 12/05/2021 13:21

Oh sorry, just seen the news! So apparently we can book from tomorrow?

squiglet111 · 12/05/2021 13:22

Sorry for daily mail link...

But have been trawling for info daily!

OP posts:

I'm going to try in the evening in case they turn it on a bit early in preparation for tomorrow...

squiglet111 · 12/05/2021 13:23

I was able to book mine on the website.

denverRegina · 12/05/2021 13:23

R1234567 · 12/05/2021 13:25

I’ve just seen in the press - we can book from tomorrow and we’ll get a text x

gigi556 · 12/05/2021 13:25

Where in the news? Link?
I've tried it says I can't book yet. I'm 38.

squiglet111 · 12/05/2021 13:25

@squiglet111 maybe they have Pfizer or moderna in your area ready to go?

Yes that is possible. I hope others can book something soon.

I have to go far away for mine to a big vaccine centre. So could be where the jabs are being sent

Reported elsewhere as well. Must be worth trying later on tonight, if not, the middle of the night!

squiglet111 · 12/05/2021 13:37

It says at sites with stock of pilfzer or moderna. So I must be close to these places.

I'd say keep trying and some others may be able to book now too.

I tried this morning and wasn't able, then tried as soon as I saw it was opening to 38+ and I got booked straight away.

I’m 38 and was just able to book mine via the NHS site, although it still states 40. Limited number of vaccine centres though from when my over 40 DH booked his. Perhaps due to change of jab. Happy to have booked regardless!
