Just interested...

If you get any reaction, is it immediate or gradual after a day or so?

AZ for me - 6 hours afterwards started to feel cold, a few hours later started with temperature. A sweaty shivery mess with muscle aches all over that night, the following day and most of the next night. Woke up the next day completely back to normal. Didn't have a sore arm at all.

Felt poo but manageable with paracetamol and bed rest. Worth it and I would do it all again in a second!! Won't hesitate to have second jab in a few months time.

AZ for me 10 days ago. Dose 1.

Next day I felt so heavy like I was part of the bed. Spinny head. Aches. Sluggish. I slept for two full days! No pain at site of injection.

Had a foggy head for a week. Okay nOw. Not looking to the second jab but it's got to be done. And it's got to be better than Covid.

I had AZ on Friday, 1st dose.
3.40 - vaccine
3.50 - heavy arm and mildly tingly thumb
4.00 - tingling eased off, drove home
Heavy and uncomfortable arm continued all evening/night, arm felt bruised. Difficult to lie on that side during night.
9am - next morning, took paracetamol as arm ached and had mild headache.
10am - felt a million dollars.
Went out for a few hours.
Evening - mild headache, but manageable without painkillers.
Bedtime, a little ugh feeling, so took painkillers.
An hour later, felt great and have been fine since then.
I.e have taken painkillers twice, before anything felt worse, but possibly could have coped without.
Husband had a bad headache during the first night, and got up to take painkillers, but apart from that his side effects were almost identical to mine - a minor issue, and not a problem in the slightest.

@chillychicken

Pfizer dose 1 11am: tongue started to swell and metallic taste in mouth within half an hour. This lasted a few hours. Headache started soon after. Woke up the next morning with a very sore arm which lasted two days and very tired for that day which peaked around 6pm.

Pfizer 2 10am yesterday: immediate burning sensation in tongue and lips followed by metallic taste which lasted all day. Arm sore within 3hrs. Felt tired and off balance by 4pm. Cold but no temperature. Slept 8.5hrs last night in a very deep sleep. This morning I got up at 7, had a cup of tea and I’m now back in bed feeling exhausted. I’ve got to get ready to take DC to school. Currently not sure how I’m going to manage that!!

I had my second Pfizer on Saturday, at 3pm. By the evening I had a weird metallic taste, tired and headachy. Yesterday felt sick all day, headache still there and last night before bed chills.

Had my second AZ on Friday. No reaction bar sore arm from the first one, this one has floored me. Well it would have if I didn’t have a 6yo to run after. Immediate dead arm and tingling after it, fine after 10 mins so drove home. Fever kicked in Saturday night with chills and shaking. Today still have chills and shaking, and I’m very aware of my arm all of a sudden, if you get me. Doesn’t feel like it’s mine 🤔
