Do we think the cost of these will be reduced come June? Tui are offering packages for £20 however if you are not on a tui package the costs approx £180 - £200 😳

It's a ridiculous amount of money especially if you have a larger family the tests could end up costing as much as the holiday and don't forget the price of the pre departure test you need at the destination before you can fly home Angry

it's insane we are supposed to be flying with easyjet in august and as it stands it's just not doable. After Tui announced they had that deal I assumed easyjet might follow but so far not heard a sausage. I take it they will be aware that unless they can help bring the cost down (and they must have significant buying power, possibly greater than tui) then frankly we'll all be changing or cancelling our flights.

If the flight is operating you may not have the option to cancel and get a refund and sometimes changing flights usually mean an increase in cost because they inflate the prices when lots want to defer. They literally have passengers over a barrel Sad

I just don’t understand how Tui can offer them so cheaply but the likes of BA are way more expensive!

I find Tui are quite significantly more expensive than budget airlines so either way end up paying, whether it's a cheap flight and expensive test or expensive flight and cheaper test
