Pain in leg after vaccination

And before anyone shouts at me, if it’s still there in the morning I will get it checked out.

I had my 2nd vaccine yesterday, first one made me very unwell but this one so far has been fine other than waking this morning with what almost feels like cramp in my leg, some throbbing but no redness or swelling. Of course my mind is working over time but I know the chances of having a clot are low.

Has anyone else had the same pain and it eased eventually? Obviously if it’s still painful when I wake up tomorrow I will get it checked.

Yes. After the 1st vaccine. It was around my shin and did ease after a while. There was a thread on here about it. I'll have a look for it.

Here it is

AstraZeneca - Very painful legs

I had painful cramps like I’d over exercised but it was my thighs and both that were hurting and then moved onto all legs. This was my second vaccine last week and I was looking into the symptoms but it dissipated by about five days in.

Was it AZ? Since is just one leg I would seek medical advice. It’s unlikely to be a clot but you’re best talking to someone about it. Call 111 tonight.

I had first one last Friday and my legs feel like they've been stretched and also I get stabbing type pains all over body which come and go. I think its just part of it but maybe check with doctor.

It’s easy to blame any new symptoms on the jab but you could always call 111 for reassurance.

Thank you, sorry for the late reply, I took some pain killers which knocked me out. Have woken and the pain is not as bad in my calf but still have a ache in my thigh. I will see how I am once I'm moving around and call 111 for advice of its still not right. I have a hospital appointment tomorrow anyway so could probably get checked out when I'm there.

I think I said on the other thread - I had exactly this for about two weeks. Just one leg. I did get it checked out and all was well. It's sorted itself out now.
