Would you feel safe in Ikea yet?

I was thinking of going this week, but feel a bit nervous. I've not been in many shops this year, done online supermarket shopping, so this would be my first trip to a big shop. I'm being silly, yes? I've had one vaccine. I'm trying to push myself out of my comfort zone.

A bit of a stupid question though, unless you have been in isolation since the start of the pandemic and haven't come into contact with anyone at all.

I’m CV for a variety of reasons and have had both vaccinations , we went to IKEA last week and it wasn’t really busy at all until you reached the queue to pay . Fortunately they didn’t have what I wanted so I didn’t have to queue . I’ve only recently started going in proper shops and it felt very safe to me although there were quite a few people not wearing masks or not wearing them properly ( IKEA Thurrock) . That said I’m not someone to worry / have anxiety about this type of thing .

Nope, it isn't a stupid question. It might be an anxious question, but that's a different thing. And you are being deliberately obtuse. there's a fair bit difference between total isolation, and being in a massive busy shop with 100s of people. It might all be fine in Ikea, but it definitely isn't 'stupid' to ask the question about how people have felt when they went.
