Feel a little off but nothing to put me in bed or anything similar.

What’s baffling is the complete loss of appetite.

Roughly 32 hours since I had done.

Others?! If so, when did you get it back?!

I have my first dose tomorrow and I could definitely use this side effect Grin

Egghead81 · 04/05/2021 16:31

It’s not pleasant, especially as I absolutely can’t afford to lose weight. So hoping that someone comes on and says that passes very quickly!

I had a reduced appetite after mine. I just didn’t feel hungry and ate small meals. I’m usually a chocoholic and had no real interest in chocolate etc. In my case it took about 2.5 to 3 weeks to resolve. I hope it’s quicker for you.

Rainbowsandstorms · 04/05/2021 19:20

I should add it’s listed as one of the less common side effects.

I felt a bit off the day after vaccination, but still ate normally. My symptoms last 24 hours so I hope you get back to normal soon too, OP.

Yes, but it didn't last long.

Not on the sheet they gave me

I was shivery the first night and spent most of the next day in bed due to the lack of sleep, and then it took a few days to get my appetite back. Felt like I was on the mend from a bug or something.

Egghead81 · 05/05/2021 06:27

Almost exactly 48 hours and no longer feel off.
Still no appetite but about to do an online hiit in hope that it reinvigorates appetite.

So relieved I have the vaccine so I’ll take the reduction in appetite for the time being!

Not that I have a choice!

I did, for me it felt like those early pregnancy days when the thought of any food puts you off luckily Normal service resumed after about 48 hours and I was back to inhaling packets of hobnobs

Thought I would do a search on vaccine and loss of appetite and very helpfully this thread came up.
I didn't know it was a side effect and haven't heard anyone else suffering from it. I had AZ vaccine on Tuesday evening and have managed to eat a bowl of cereal yesterday and one today. The thought of food makes me feel sick. In fact I did actually vomit a couple of times on Wednesday morning.
It's reassuring to hear that it goes after 48 hours.

Egghead81 · 06/05/2021 20:42

Thankfully mine came back completely fine at around 48 hours

I had my vaccination mid-March. My appetite is still awful. Lots of things I used to eat I can't bear the thought of 😔

CeeceeBloomingdale · 08/05/2021 13:05

Yes, I had a lot of the symptoms but definitely a loss of appetite. Today I felt hungry and it's a week post vaccine, before now nothing.
