Feeling Weak and Tired 5 days after Moderna Vaccine

Had Moderna vaccine last Wednesday. Felt weak and tired Thursday and Friday. Felt fine Saturday, went for a 4k run on Saturday evening. Felt great when I went to bed. Sunday and today feeling weak and tired again.
Anyone else or am I the only weakling ever.

I am 45 and female.

Any doctors out there that can advise if this is normal?

TIA

Not a doctor but I also felt weak and very tired for a good week. Now on day 11 post jab and everything is almost back to normal again, although occasionally my lymph nodes feel a bit sore. Don’t think it’s anything to worry about.

Thanks for your reply. Which vaccine did you have? Glad I am not the only one x

I had Moderna 13 days ago, tired and sore arm for 2 to 3 days and all fine. Thought I'd done ok but on day 11, a lymph node came up on my collarbone and I feel tired again. Still happy I had though!

Hope you're OK. Yes, I am very happy and privileged I got my vaccine.Smile

Why do you feel ‘privileged’? You are obviously suffering quite a bit.

I'm fine thank you. Its weird really, I feel fine but a few niggly things come and go. Glad there's others appearing here who have had Moderna!

All the vaccines seem to have the ability to really take it out of you.

In my rational mind I’m thinking that shows how bad the illness must be if I can have such a reaction to just the injection.

Take it easy for another week to ten days. Treat your body like you’ve had covid and be gentle with it. It needs that just now.

You can get back to full strength in due course.

What a strange thing to say.

People are dying all over the world. People my age haven't been given the chance for a vaccine yet, so yes I feel privileged or maybe lucky is probably the correct word to use

It’s the fatigue, I had it too but only lasted a couple of days.
