Experiences of being vaccinated in hospital?

I was turned away from the vaccination centre and told I could only have the jab in hospital due to my medical history (despite my doctor saying it was ok). They said I will need extra observation time and medical back up and should contact my doctor again to re-arrange, which slightly threw me. Has anyone been jabbed in hospital and what was it like?

I did, but through a work booking rather than medical need.
My experience sounds just like those at the hubs. My medical history was checked, a nurse did the vaccination and then I sat just outside the bay for 15 minutes to check for any side effects. After that I was free to go. It was a really smooth process.
