Will I be refused AZ if pregnant?

My age group are finally able to book for vaccines!!!!

Problem is there seems no way to find out which vaccine any centre has, I just a have to see on the day. I will gratefully take any vaccine but as I am pregnant I am worried they could refuse to do me with AZ.

I called 119 but all they could say was it would be up to the person giving the vaccine on the day.

I obviously don't want to keep booking appointments, turning up to find out what vaccine they have, and being sent away until I happen to find one that will jab me!

Help?! Does anyone know if I'm likely to be refused AZ?

Contact your gp, they should direct you and help you book non-AZ vaccine

Your GP or midwife can help you get onto the Pfizer pathway. It’s usually a gp hub. But anyway they will some 2nd dose AZ, if that is the one you want and they agree to give it.

As they move down the age groups, they’re going to start increasingly encountering this request from pregnant women. And the booking website makes it clear that there’s a preference to be offered Moderna or Pfizer.
