Are they still doing the moderna jab there? Booked in for Thursday.

Those who’ve booked at Wimbledon, did you book your second vaccine apt at the same time? My slots are 11 weeks apart and I’m wondering if that has any bearing on which vaccine they give you on the day. Or is that a standard gap for them all?

Yes booked 2nd appointment at same time and it is about 11 weeks after first one.

Sore arm, nauseous and feeling exhausted atm...but glad I had the jab!

These are my symptoms exactly. Now I understand why some people said they needed a sling after the jab!

Just a heads up that my husband had his vaccine at Wimbledon AFC this morning and it was AstraZeneca not Moderna. I’d book him in there hoping to avoid AZ.

It’s not a moderna only site. Nowhere will be moderna only until there is a reliable supply and there isn’t a reliable supply of moderna yet. That’s why there are only a few sites doing it.

Health systems would not be going to the bother of creating Pfizer pathways if they had a reliable moderna supply.

Yes, I’m aware. Just wanted to let people know as I’m aware a few people (including myself) were hoping it was Moderna based on previous weeks.

Yes, I just had AZ at AFC Wimbledon too. Was told they expect to be doing AZ all week due to Moderna supply issues. Importantly though, I got my sticker! 🙂

I've been trying to find this out too as I'm going there tomorrow !! I've created a separate thread for it but no luck so far in finding anyone that's been today/yesterday.

Oh no, I was booked there for this Thursday too. In any case i've got a cold now so not sure I would have made it.

Not helping for AFC Wimbledon or Madejski but Pfizer at StoneX stadium yesterday.

Does anyone have any up to date info on what jab is being offered at AFC today (Tuesday) or if Moderna is defo not being used this week? Was recommended by GP to go there but will cancel my appointment tomorrow if so.

My friend had AZ today at AFC Wimbledon.

DH had AZ today at AFC Wimbledon.
Last week it was defo Moderna. It’s a gamble what you will get on what day.

On another thread posters have said that at Madjeski Reading they are also swapping over from Moderna to AZ in the next few days. Same may be true of Sheffield I think.

I had Moderna at Madjeski Reading last night but others who've been today said they got AZ.

DH had AZ at Wimbledon on Tuesday. They were doing Moderna but I think it’s has changed.

Apologies just read they have been using AZ this week. My appt is today!

My husband went this morning and had AZ.

They said they don’t know what they are going to get each day. Apparently their capacity is thousands but they are only doing 400 a day. Presume due to supply
