DH can’t book vaccine online even though he’s eligible

DH is 45 but we’ve been unable to book his vaccination online as he keeps getting the same error message (see attached). We’ve repeatedly called the 119 number to report the error code as instructed and got nowhere. He hasn’t had his text/letter from the GP either and they’re not being any help. Has anyone else had this? If so, have you managed to book your vaccination?

I’m especially worried as it looks like the next group will be able to book soon and he still won’t be able to! It’s so frustrating

@Mrsfrumble No! We've got nowhere. Still can't book, still can't get any help, still waiting on the GP - they told me they were on age 47, but when he called they said they were still doing 48-49 year olds so apparently they're going backwards.

The other local GPs apparently don't have any vaccine stocks atm but will let him book once they do, later in the month.... even though he's not registered with them. That's our best bet at the moment.

This happened to a friend of mine. She kicked off on Twitter and tagged the local ccg in and anyone she could find associated with the vaccine programme as well as NHS England etc. Even tried just turning up at a centre with her passport. Eventually the ccg booked her in but it took ages to sort and I suspect they had to fiddle it by saying she's a health worker or something.

Did your friend go to a walk-in and get turned away then? I’m was thinking of trying that but I don’t want to waste a day travelling and queuing if they can’t help me either.

Yes - got turned away from the test centre. Sounds like a glitch In the National system.

Sent you a pm, @silverGlassHare

So he's managed to book! Someone posted on Facebook that they'd heard that the local GP would vaccinate people over 40 from our village even if they're registered at another surgery. So he called them up and they booked him in on Tuesday!

Thanks everyone who posted with suggestions.
