AZ: sore bloodshot eyes?

Had my first AZ jab yesterday and have had a pretty rough time with the side effects (high fever, usual nasty fluey symptoms).

This afternoon my eyes are sore and just noticed in the mirror that they are bloodshot.

Is this normal? Caused by high temp maybe? Dehydration?

Might give it some time before I seek medical advice... was kind of hoping everyone on here would say 'oh yeah, that happened to me!'

Have also spent most of the day laid staring at my phone screen so I guess it could be something like that and nothing to do with feeling ill!

Covid has been linked to eye issues and infections. It seems like the vaccine can give mini Covid symptoms in some people. Perhaps that's what's happened?

Better to err on side of caution than regret seeking medical help earlier.
I car reassure you that you are not wasting anyone’s time.
You don’t just randomly get bloodshot eyes because of staring at a screen all day.

My husband had one eye that went completely pink the evening that he'd had his jab (jab was 10am), it had gone back to normal the following day.
