Anyone NOT had any AZ side effects?

I had AZ yesterday and feel absolutely fine this morning. No headache, haven't had a fever and no sore arm. If anything I would say I am very mildly tired, but that is probably because I'm menopausal and woke up about three times in the night. Am I just lucky or perhaps it'll hit me in over the next day or so?

Slightly sore arm and that was it.

Lanique · 24/04/2021 08:25

I'm 13 hours post jab, as is dh, and apart from a slightly stuffy head this morning (which I get most days anyway so probably isn't related) I'm feeling fine so far... 🤞

Was fully prepared to wake up feeling like death this morning but slept really well Grin

I took an aspirin and two paracetamol before bed and arnica twice yesterday and once this morning. May be helping. Certainly no bruising or site pain yet.

Orpheline · 24/04/2021 08:26

I slept for 13 hours, the day after I had it. Bliss!

HagenDaz · 24/04/2021 08:26

I had a sore arm. A friend warned me that I might feel cold afterwards so I wrapped up in blankets and then put the electric blanket on when I went to bed. Zero side effects which scuppered my plans to spend the next day in bed being waited on hand and foot by all and sundry.

Two friends have been very poorly afterwards though.

Iwant2move · 24/04/2021 08:27

Nothing apart from a slightly sore arm, and then only if I prodded it, hard.

midgedude · 24/04/2021 08:27

Felt fine

AnneLovesGilbert · 24/04/2021 08:29

Had the AZ last month. No symptoms at all, not even a sore arm.

DH was fine for 48 hours then very sore arm for couple of days but not a peep of anything else.

dizzydizzydizzy · 24/04/2021 08:29

No side effects whatsoever. I couldn't even see where the needle went in

Shezlon · 24/04/2021 08:30

I had mine in the late afternoon and woke up next morning with a terrible headache which lasted a couple of hours, then nothing. Felt absolutely fine.
I always feel shit after a flu jab and have several autoimmune conditions so was prepared to suffer!

ElizabethTudor · 24/04/2021 08:38

Slightly sore arm, but only when lifting it, to drink (wine). That’s it.

LizziesTwin · 24/04/2021 08:39

Nothing at all, not even a sore arm. Ran 10km the next morning.

BlowDryRat · 24/04/2021 08:40

I had a sore arm for a couple of days after my first one, nothing after my second jab. I actually wondered whether the nurse had really given it to me!

rookiemere · 24/04/2021 08:42

Based on work colleagues and friends who have had AZ, seems about 50/50 in terms of who has had side effects and who has not.

Annoyingly DH and I did both feel a bit rubbish the day after, but I've been advised that if you're like that after the first you're unlikely to get side effects from the second vaccine.

Longdistance · 24/04/2021 08:42

My dh had his this week. He woke with a headache which lasted most of the day. He’s not mentioned a sore arm yet.
I had mine and felt nauseous the next day, a bit blah. My arm was hot and sore a few days later.
My 80 yo dm had no side effects. She has heart problems, and recently had radiotherapy for a shadow on her lung.

MRex · 24/04/2021 08:51

DBIL said he was given a fake vaccine because he had no side effects.

I had a mild headache after a few days that went with paracetamol. It's plausible that wasn't even caused by the vaccine, but logged as it was soon after.

rainbowstardrops · 24/04/2021 09:13

Most people that I know who've had at least their first vaccine (including DH), had a reaction but I had absolutely nothing. Not even a sore arm like I usually get with the flu jab. I reckon I was given a dud! Grin I really hope I'll be ok after my second jab though!

Randominternetbitch · 24/04/2021 10:33

DH and I both had sore arms for a couple of days. felt tired and little headachy the day after but some paracetamol and rest sorted that. We are both early 40s.

Skyliner001 · 24/04/2021 10:37

Nothing.

Northernsoulgirl45 · 24/04/2021 10:54

Had it on a Thursday. Did take paracetamol as a precaution on the day. By Friday early evening had a bit of a headache and flaked out on sofa fir a few hours. Mildly sore arm. Than nothing.
Most people I know had less symptoms than that. Only person I know who felt rough fir a few days had previously had COVID. But than again as NHS they may had had pfizer.

BareGrylls · 24/04/2021 11:13

Nothing after either jab.
Oh unless you count a sore toe which couldn't possibly be connected to my new walking boots or the dodgy tummy 3 weeks later which cannot be attributed to anything else.

broccolibush · 24/04/2021 11:18

Most people I know were complaining of chills/flu like symptoms/headaches for around 24 hours afterwards so I was expecting that - particularly as I'm a bit sickly. DH, having the constitution of an ox, had no side effects but I wrote that off as him being him. I was fine aside from a slightly sore arm for about 24 hours.

Hettylala · 24/04/2021 11:18

I've been out and about this morning and now have a slightly sore arm, but that is it. Sun is out so contemplating a pint outside the pub in a bit.

PatriciaHolm · 24/04/2021 11:20

Nothing here either! Wouldn't have wanted someone to punch that arm, to be fair ;-), but nothing else.

sansou · 24/04/2021 11:30

Had mine yesterday afternoon. Slightly sore arm but a stonker of a headache today. Drinking plenty of water and have taken paracetamol. Slept fine last night.

crispinglovershighkick · 24/04/2021 12:08

Dh and I (50s) had it without any side effects whatsoever (like a pp said, this ruined my plans to lounge around in misery for a day or two), my dm (80) had no more than a slightly sore arm.
