Possible to change email results are sent to?

Had to pick up DD from nursery due to a cough, I started to feel a little under the weather so I went to pick up DD and DH booked both me and her a test while I set off and took her to the test centre. He put my email address in for the results but spelt it wrong 🤦‍♀️

Now the results will go to an email address neither of us has access to, I don't even know if it's belongs to anyone. Does anyone know if there's a way to update your contact details for results?

Can you try setting up an email account with the wrong address, maybe someone already has it, but it's worth a punt.

You get a text as well as the email if that helps.

eurochick · 19/04/2021 17:11

Try emailing the misspelled address and ask them to forward the results email on.

if the phone number was right you'll get a text.

Otherwise ring 119, you might need a new test.

MRex · 19/04/2021 17:21

Call 119 and ask

CorpusCallosum · 19/04/2021 18:50

Thanks all, the phone number was right so I'll get a text.

Tried to register the email address, it is taken so owned by someone.

I'm more concerned with sensitive data being sent to a stranger 🙄

I didn't get a text one time, just email, I think it's best to call 119 if you don't hear.

CorpusCallosum · 19/04/2021 21:41

I got a text, it's negative 🙌

Had to log on and catch up with work this evening so never even got the chance to call 119 - will remember to call them next time!! Damn cold getting in the way of executive functioning, thanks for being my mental crutch MN 😅
