Coronavirus Spain can we survive more restrictions

I'm not sure buisness or even people here can keep going with restrictions and new things coming into effect. I run a restaurant and it's been so slow setting up. Were having major issues we have no complaint book apparently none has ever been registered despite being a restaurant three times before. We can't get a capacity number without it. It's crazy.

How is the restrictions effecting other people in Spain?

I’m sorry to hear about your restaurant.

I’m a little confused about the end of the state of emergency and what that means, I’m lucky enough to be working (lost six months last year) but just bored of this tiny province!

That's May 9th? I'm not sure I think the government can't bring in restrictions without agreement? I'm not really sure tbh.

Is there a current rule on weddings in Spain? A family member is convinced his wedding will be going ahead in July... even if we can travel would they allow a wedding with 50+ International guest? I can't see it

There are just so many delays we've been waiting 9 months to open and two weeks before we opened they brought in the legislation for have your capacity number in the window. The last year has just been a misadventures into the failure of the Spanish buecracy

@Chatterbox1987 I wouldn't book tickets. My family member has been trying to visit for ages now and has moved the flight twice. It's not worth the risk

I know the curfew will have to end and presumably the rule of 6. Were on another town lockdown here again and I want to know if they’ll still be able to close counties.

I wouldn’t have thought a July wedding would go ahead... although with the may 9th decision that may change things...

Keepitnerdy · 18/04/2021 16:51

I don't think the wedding would go ahead especially with international guests or that many people. I'm guessing social distancing, mask wearing, the maximum occupation number and the new regulations on restaurants that want to stay open 11 will continue. Currently restaurant and bars are at 50 percent inside and 70 on terrace? It's so hard to keep up

We booked our tickets ages ago... our issue is if they decided now to re arrange for next year we could probably move it without affecting the price too much... however if they wait until they are told we can't travel then next year's prices are going to be crazy.
