That you know personally.

OP posts:
PastMyBestBeforeDate · 16/04/2021 11:27

Me, my parents, my mil, my cousin and a number of friends who are either CEV, abroad or HCPs.

MRex · 16/04/2021 11:29

Oh yes, also a handful of neighbours who got jabbed in January and one who was jabbed in February - not sure why he was given his second one early, I was a bit rushed with my toddler. Maybe he asked for it early because his son had cancer last year and they're visiting a lot to help care for him.

Loads. A lot of elderly relatives, a lot working in care or hospitals, a few shielding so got in early, plus a few in the US where they had a three week interval not a 12 week one.

Heatherjayne1972 · 16/04/2021 12:04

Loads. But then I work in a dental practice of 30 people All had both.

Plus loads of our patients have had both - which is proving ‘interesting’ as these people are starting to get cross when we ask them to still wear masks at their appointment some apparently ‘don’t need to ‘ because ‘I’ve been vaccinated’ It’s Not everyone of course but we are hearing this more and more now.

YellowFish1647 · 16/04/2021 12:06

One - my 87 year old grandmother.

My parents are booked for their second jab in about two weeks.

I have mine booked for early June.

YellowFish1647 · 16/04/2021 12:07

Sorry, I lied - five. My Aunt and her husband have also had second jabs, and my in-laws.

Summertime21 · 16/04/2021 12:18

Lots, I work in healthcare so myself and lots of colleges have

sistersnottwins · 16/04/2021 12:19

Lots but that's mainly due to the jobs that me and friends do. We're mainly HCPs and other care professionals.

ChocOrange1 · 16/04/2021 12:21

My husband, husband Dad, his brother and sister in law (NHS)

Five elderly relatives.

RolloverRollover · 16/04/2021 12:24

Lots (30+), including myself, mostly because I work in Social Care and because my parents have a few carers who all have had their 2nd shots.

Scarby9 · 16/04/2021 12:26

Everyone I know who is over 80 (40 people?) and most of my medical friends (18?).

CrunchyCarrot · 16/04/2021 12:28

No-one as yet. My MIL is due her second jab in another week, I think.

Waxonwaxoff0 · 16/04/2021 13:10
  1. One NHS, one support worker. My 78 year old grandfather has second jab booked next week.
Waxonwaxoff0 · 16/04/2021 13:11

Sorry, it's actually 3 - forgot about my friend who is also NHS staff.

Rillington · 16/04/2021 13:12

Me and my DM.

Frazzled2207 · 16/04/2021 13:12

Only parents and piLs. All in their 70s.

Frazzled2207 · 16/04/2021 13:13

Oh yes and hcp friends. Most people I know are still waiting for their 1st.

ifonly4 · 16/04/2021 13:18

My elderly Mum and Aunt. Younger friend who is ECV. Two friends who qualify through work. Sadly they refused to vaccine my Uncle as he wasn't well enough for first dose and he then went onto catch covid (and was very ill with it).

My work place qualify for early vaccination. The main ten people I work with leapt at it and we've all had our second this week.

Lots of elderly neighbours in the road, I was lucky to get my vaccine ahead of them so doubt many have been offered second dose.

So 16 in total.

ILookAtTheFloor · 16/04/2021 13:32

I know quite a lot now. Will be joining that number on Monday 😁

My nan was fully vaxxed ages ago (in Jan) as her first dose was before they brought the 12 week gap in and they honoured the 3 week gap (she's 94).

EventOfTheSeason · 16/04/2021 13:34

One, and I think my parents and other family members in their seventies are booked to have their second one in the next few weeks.

EmmaGrundyForPM · 16/04/2021 13:35

several, including myself.

summersolstice43 · 16/04/2021 13:37

I've had both of mine

PrincessNutNuts · 16/04/2021 13:39

Two.

Both over 80.

But my parents are booked in for Sunday which will make four.

CLCB07 · 16/04/2021 13:39

I'm in Wales and quite a few. My sister, parents, parent in laws and lots of friends who are frontline.

TheFlis12345 · 16/04/2021 13:39

MIL has, as have a couple of people I know in their 30’s due to their job or a health condition. FIL and my parents get their 2nd early next week, I get my second the week after.
