On subject of vaccine side effects, has anyone experienced pins and needles in hands or feet 4 weeks after vaccine. DP and I are having this as just wondering if it could be an AZ side effect.

I've had both doses of AZ. 1st one I had tingling and numbness in my hand same side as jab. It came on 20 mins after, had it all day and was mostly better the 2nd day. However, I've been left with a stiff, numb little finger I still have it 6 months later after my 1st.

2nd one, happened again but 5 mins after jab. Not as severe. Moving my hand and arm a lot helped. It disappeared after a couple of hours.

I've known quite a few others with the same thing even though it's supposed to be rare.

Hello
Sorry to hear that you have had some similar side effects. Regarding having a second jab that is your decision really. I think I have been extremely unlucky and just wanted to raise the issue of having support when things go wrong as I still have not been able to see my GP let alone a specialist to help me. Also to add that my husband had 2 of the same jabs and he is fine. So it really is an individual response . I just wish you well and hope that like some of the others for you it will disappear soon. For the majority it seems fine. But for me personally it has been a difficult time. Best wishes

I have been double vaccinated and I've been experiencing it lately quite a lot,

@RoseLilyDaisy i know what you mean about the support. It took me weeks to get a call with the doctor - i just kept getting fobbed off by the receptionist. But to be honest, it hasn't been much help anyway - doctor doesn't know and can't tell me what to do about 2nd jab. Hope you feel better soon
