so had my vaccine at the start of Feb. Was volunteering at a vaccine centre as a post vaccine observer. They had some opened Pfizer vaccine at the end of the night and offered to jab me with the left overs else it would just go in the bin. hurrah! My DH also had his vaccine the day before as he is Group 6 due to high dose steroid treatment.
I had a feeling something was weird as i could log into the NHS website to book a second appointment but my DH can't. However, it was only coming up with locations I knew were AZ.
My DH got a message to book his second vaccine but i hadn't heard anything yet so emailed my GP as was unsure whether they were supposed to contact me or the centre I had it at.
My GP texted me back saying that I had had the AZ jab and could book my second appointment online.
erm no. Several phone calls with lots of people insisting I was wrong I finally got through to someone who had the sense to look up what jab they were doing that day and confirmed it was Pfizer (which i knew 1. because it says so on my card, 2. they had open vials and 3. i was a post vaccine observer which they don't have in AZ).
But they need to check how to update it all. So waiting and waiting for them to confirm it's been updated. So worried i'm gonna end up missing the 12 week deadline for my second jab.
Sorry just needed to rant.
