1st and 2nd jab bookings

Just a quick question. When booking via the NHS website for the vaccinations, can you book your second jab earlier than 12 weeks or does it automatically give you a date for week 12?

When I booked mine and my Dad's it gave us dates exactly 11 weeks after

You can basically choose the date after around 11 weeks.

It gives you a date that you cant book before.....if that makes sense!

Mine gave me a date just over 10 weeks after first.

I'm a bit confused about my next jab. I had mine 3 weeks ago and on my card, it says I am due for my next in 11-12 weeks, but doesn't say if I should be booking myself or if I get called up.

I went on the NHS booking website, but it looks as though that's for booking the first.

Can anyone shed some light?

If you were sent for by your dr, rather than booking online at a hub, your surgery will text you your 2nd dose date nearer the time.
