AZ vax - history of blood clots

I'm in my fifties and due the vaccine. I should have gone about 3 weeks ago, but was really rough with sinusitis so waited till my body temp got back to normal and the sinus pain improved. Now I'm concerned because I have been treated for blood clots in the past and was told not to take the pill any more. My mum also had a scare with a bad thrombosis. So I'm wondering if I should be asking for an alternative if possible?

I know I can, and will, ask my GP but it's complicated by the fact my hubby (in his late 60s) is vax hesitant and won't have his unless we go together, so I'm trying to work out how to juggle all this.

[yes I know he's not a baby and my responsibility but I can't blithely get mine and leave him unprotected and go back to normal - further complicated by the fact he helps me with transport (he drives and has a car) as I am sight-impaired and have CFS . I was able to use a bus but social distancing was difficult and I gave up due to the pandemic].

I came on to ask a similar question but related to the fact that I had severe pre eclampsia when pregnant and I've read that it can cause problems in later life, including heart disease and blood clots. I don't know for sure if this is the case but I'm a little bit nervous in case having the astra zeneca one is risky for me because of this and I'm unsure if I should ask if there is anything else I could have...
