I've tried looking for this on Google but can't find a clear answer anywhere. DH and I are keen to stick within regulations but can't work this one out.
We live in Wales and haven't seen either of our sets of parents for nearly 9 months now as they both live in England. We've just heard the date for forming an extended household here has been brought forward to 3rd May. I'm due to give birth a week later so we've already planned to form a support bubble with my parents from when she's born (as is legally permitted here). They aren't in any form of bubble. We were wondering if from 3rd May we'll be able to form an extended household with my in-laws and still maintain a separate support bubble with my parents to allow both sets of grandparents to legally visit. Unfortunately the journey is too long for in-laws to do in a day so meeting outside with them isn't really an option. What may complicate things is that our in-laws are already in a support bubble with DH's nanna and a childcare bubble with my SiL. I'm just trying to see if anyone has seen anything officially published to say whether you will be permitted to have a support bubble and an extended household with someone else. Or failing that was anyone in this position the last time we were allowed to form extended households and if so did you have that plus a bubble? Thanks 😊
