When will you be able to stay with family members in their home?

Have been trying to find this out but failing so hoping someone here knows!

I know from May 17th at the earliest up to two households or 6 people can meet inside. Would you be able to stay the night from then as well? I can’t find anything saying you either can or can’t.

Yes from the 17th May. I can't wait as my family live too far away to see without staying to it will the first time I can see them.

Oh that is good - I haven’t seen my parents since last September and my sister since Christmas 2019. Am hoping we can go down there at half term Smile

Magically, it will be safe at midnight on 17 May because Matt Hancock, SAGE and the government say so.

May 17th is overnight accommodation with communal areas. Technically the earliest date though the progress in reducing deaths and hospital admissions makes me hopeful.
