History of blood clots

I had booked my covid jab for the weekend but I'm struggling to speak to my doctor ahead of it to make sure I'm ok to have it with a history of clotting issues.
It's really worrying me. Anyone know?

I have a common blood clotting disorder and had an anti coagulant during pregnancy and I have had the AZ vaccine. I think that the risk of blood clotting due to covid is much greater than anything that could be associated with vaccine.

If you are concerned though of course speak to your GP.

The clotting side effect is believed to be an autoimmune response - whatever caused your previous clotting events, it was a different mechanism, so it makes no difference.

I have a history of blood clots but had the AZ without a second thought 🤷‍♀️

My gp has told me I'm in the at risk group so I'm not allowed the AZ jab!
