AZ 10 days on still tired with reduced appetite anyone else?

I had my AZ vaccination 10 days ago and my side effects were fairly minimal I just had a sore arm, felt a bit wiped out and lost my appetite. I’m now 10 days on and still feeling more tired than usual, I was in bed at 8.30pm last night and my appetite still hasn’t returned properly. Other than that I generally feel ok but still not a hundred percent. Has anyone else had similar symptoms and how long did they take to go?

Yes, I had that. I did have quite severe side effects for the first couple of days - shivering, nausea and vomiting and the extreme fatigue. Most of it passed within 48 hours but the fatigue lasted a week or so and I have only just got my appetite back this weekend - I would say probably Sunday which is 18 days since I had my vaccination

@99victoria thank you for your reply. I’m glad yours has returned. Did you have barely there nausea with the loss of appetite? Looking forward to enjoying my food and feeling full of energy again.

Yes, I was able to eat but I didn't crave food or look forward to it like I normally do. I love chocolate and I found I wasn't really bothered about it. Fortunately, my appetite returned in time for Easter weekend eating and drinking :)

@99victoria that sounds very similar to me. I’ve been eating but less than usual and I haven’t eaten much Easter chocolate at all which is very unlike me! I’m not bothered at all about things I’d usually really enjoy. It’s good for my waistline I guess!

I’ve felt dodgy on and off since I had my jab four weeks ago.

Reduced energy, digestive problems, cold symptoms, body aches. I’m just starting to rally a bit now.

I just started a thread on this.2 weeks on shivering and achy and irritable.Not my normal energetic self.Strange really.

I just take it as a bloody good job I didn’t get the virus, if I’ve reacted this badly to the vaccine.
