I've been pondering vaccination and in my area (not UK) it's about to be available for people in my group.
I'm on the fence because I've seen MANY, many, many reports of women having issues with irregular periods after their vaccination, and I am actively trying to become pregnant. At an earlier point in my life I struggled with fertility, and still often have long cycles due to PCOS. I'm definitely not feeling "done" having children, but due to being in my late 30s don't have all the time in the world to wait and see what happens.
Has anyone who had the jab become pregnant after? Especially wondering about women who have seen their period show up later than expected after the vaccine was administered.
If there's even a modest rate of fertility impacts, given my covid risk profile, I'd probably wait to get the vaccine until after another pregnancy and birth. But so far all I've heard is the "my period's late" part...not whether it resolved and resulted in normal ovulation and fertile cycles after.
